A bit about me…

From grade school to grad school, I was often sketching and doodling while in school. Occasionally getting into trouble due to my fervent doodling. As I started hiking more, I would bring a set of colored pens and a sketchbook. Then one birthday, my husband gifted a watercolor set to me. It is a constant learning process; learning an appreciation for the weather elements and medium. I rarely go on an outdoor adventure without my watercolors, enjoying a mindfulness moment with Nature.

For years, I’ve dreamed of going to Norway, hiking hut to hut, eating delicious food, seeing the mountains, glaciers, and fjords. In September 2024, that dream finally came true. The experience was transformative for my watercolor practice. I have put together a collection of some of my favorites from the trip. I hope you enjoy it!
